About Us
We are a self advocacy group.
We have been running for over 20 years.
We support each other to build the skills and confidence to speak up.
We meet weekly at the Gateway.
We work with our local council and health services to make things better.
We get involved in regional self advocacy through the Regional Forum and Confirm and Challenge.
Services
Local self-advocates with a learning disability and/or autism meet weekly to practice speaking up, develop their confidence, meet friends and have some fun.
Warrington Borough Council, CCG and NHS regularly consult with the group on strategic issues and policy decisions and are respected for both their contribution and ability to challenge.
The Speak Up Group continue to meet at The Gateway every Tuesday 10.30am for a brew the meeting is 11am – 12pm.
